Berry Yummy Italian Frozen Yogurt

We were looking for another place to chill when we passed by the Blue Wave Mall Marquinton. Looking around, we found this Italian frozen yogurt store. The ambiance was so attractive and fun so we decided to have some sweet desserts that match the place.

Here's what we've got:

Blueberry Cheesecake

Mango Almond Crepe

Mango Almond Crepe and Blueberry Cheesecake

We both know that it is a froyo (frozen yogurt) store but I decided to try their new specialty and he stick with the classic cheesecake. Yes, if you're a non-yogurt fan, they also serve other treats for you such as crepes and waffles.

As soon as you see this place, you will definitely find the child inside you. Take a look at their counter (photo grabbed from the internet):

Choose whatever toppings you want! For only P16/oz, you can have as many frozen yogurt you would love to have. Chit-chats are best in this place since it is not as crowded as coffee houses where we used to sit and talk with our friends.

And I enjoyed Berry Yummy! It's very yummy! :)

Corazon's Cafe and Restaurant

Marikina, being one of Antipolo's neighbor has been one of our favorite places to dine. As our another goal for this year, we will try to visit and look for new dining places in Marikina (except of course to those where we've tried eating out before). Corazon's Cafe and Restaurant was our first stop.

Located at Conception Dos, Marikina City, Corazon's welcomed us with this:

A beautifully-set fountain :)

I wasn't starving when we went there so as he ordered a rice meal, I only ordered for their halo-halo. Here's what we had:

Beef with mushroom plus vegetable side dish (I forgot if it is really it's name.haha!)

Their own version of Halo-Halo

Iced tea and Blue Soda something :)

Honestly, I didn't like their version of halo-halo. I don't know if it was the banana or the flavor of the vanilla ice cream that made me not want it. Anyway, the rice meal was good.

And because I wasn't able to finish my halo-halo, I tried to look on something that's worth coming in the place. First, the good ambiance. Second, the swing. Oh yes, they also have this wooden swing that I truly like.

Maybe, we will come back to try their other dishes. 'Til next time, Corazon's! :)

Cafe Cristina (A Valentine Escape)

Valentine's Day. A day when we can see hearts in almost every place we go. They say, it is the time to let our loved ones feel how special they are for us.  But since I believe that it should be everyday and not just on a the 14th day of February, this day is not that big event for me though I always try to make my loved ones feel extra special whenever this day comes.

To make it a bit special, we decided to watch movie after work while everybody's having their dinner in those jam packed restaurants and fast food chains. To match it with the mood, we watched "The Vow." Of course, love story.

After watching movie (since we are still full because we already ate before we went in the movie house), we just walked around the mall where we saw a wall designed with cute hearts where we can't help but have pictures with it as our background.

The mall was so full that we thought of going somewhere calm and quiet, a place where we can escape the noise and just feel relaxed. Fortunately, as we passed by Marcos Highway, we found this perfect and almost-hidden place, the Cafe Cristina.

Who would have thought that behind a gas station is where a place like this will be located? Okay. It's just a simple and typical coffee house but what I love about this place is the calming ambiance that it gave us as we went there.

The entrance :)

Windows designed with hearts to match the Love Season :)

 Their Pasty stand

 Cafe's Menu

As mentioned, we're still full but because we can't stay there and order nothing, we just had the following:

Lechon Kawali

I tried their chocolate milkshake while he had their iced tea :)

As I said, we must let our loves feel our love for them everyday but for this day will never be complete without making our loved ones feel extra special. Flowers for me and chocolates for you, pogi! :)

Upon going home, I saw one thing that caught my attention and made me say to myself that we must come back: THE SWING. I really love swings which reminds me of being a child.

To end, we told ourselves that we will surely come back to taste other foods that this cafe is offering. And of course, for me to experience swinging on this blue swing. I know it will wait for me :))

So, the next time you pass by Marcos Highway, make sure to stop by and try eating here.

BonChon Chicken Philippines (Exchange Gifts)

For the sake of memory and sharing, this is another late post (and there will be more. haha!)

It was Eastwood that has been our favorite place last year. We love how we can just walk around and find places to eat in every corner.

Since it is a time travelling blog post, I'll post as if it just happened yesterday. hihi!

Christmas is always a family day to us, so as to them. It is our family which is our priority on this important day. We usually just spent it at home, waiting for our godchildren to come in our house and get their gifts. In the afternoon, we attend mass.

And because we cannot see each other on Christmas Day, we decided to meet a day before so we could at least exchange gifts which makes us feel like children again. We love to feel like we're kids.

I've been craving for BonChon Chicken so we decided to eat and spend our early Christmas Eve there. We both ate light since Noche Buena's waiting in our houses.

He ordered Bulgogi Wrap while I ordered Thigh Ricebox

I really love the juicy-ness and tenderness of BonChon Chicken. Plus, it has its distinct flavor that you will surely love. What I love more is its simple yet nice serving.

After dinner, we exchanged gifts and these were what we got:

We love Christmas and the happiness it brings in our hearts. We also love the idea of opening gifts during this season. We love the idea of sharing, not just the material things but the love wrapped in it.

As to BonChon, we highly recommend that you try eating here. Both the place and food is really good. Overall, we will rate it 9/10.

We love BonChon Chicken :)

Christmas Village at Eastwood City

Okay, I know it's very very late to be posting this on this almost -Ber months but I just can't help but share the photos just for Christmas, a happy Christmas' sake.

We were just doing a simple walk along Eastwood Citywalk 2 when we passed by this lively Christmas Village. Lights and colors made us feel like we want to be part of it. Silly us. We maybe just love the happiness that Christmas season can bring to children.

Candy House

Snowman

Santa and children (okay, I'm one of them and he's the eldest brother. haha!)

Santa's elves

Christmas Lights

Unfortunately, we didn't had the chance to see and experience the snow shower but I we definitely enjoyed our walk along the Christmas Village. We will surely come back next Christmas.

Dear Christmas Village,
Thanks for making us feel like children again. 'Til next time!
